Reflection:
On this day, September 9, 2024, as we recall the heavy thunderstorms and lightning that occurred last night, let us be reminded of the powerful protection and strength that God provides. Just as the psalmist proclaims, God is our refuge and ever-present help in times of trouble.
When the storms of life rage around us, we can find comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father is in control. He is our source of strength and peace, and we need not be overcome by fear.

Prayer:
Father God, we thank you for being our refuge and strength, even in the midst of life's storms. As we recall the powerful thunderstorms and lightning from last night, we are reminded of your mighty presence and protection. Help us to trust in your unwavering love and find peace in knowing that you are always with us. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
